“That’s a criminal offense so it’s basically the criminal courts that will take charge. ‘Yung isang kaso nila ‘yung robbery in band is a criminal offense so sasagutin nila doon sa criminal courts,” ayon kay Dizon That is also going to be reinvestigated and then, kung sa administrative, they can be discharged from the service or they can also be demoted,” sabi ni Dizon.
“Transfer out of an organization is not a punishment e. So they’ll probably, kung ma-demote sila, they will be demoted then definitely transferred out, balik sila sa Philippine Army,” anito.
“Kaya sila nakapasok dito dahil walang derogatory reports at saka ‘ bemedalled soldier. That’s exactly the people we need, but then nung pumasok sila dito, they’re also advised that working in the Palace, with the Presidential Security Group, malaki ang demand namin sa discipline nila. So mas istrikto kami dito compared to other units. Sa ibang units, if you get away… if you do something and then get away with the reprimand, here, you will probably be demoted. Kung sa ibang commands, made-demote ka, dito idi-discharge ka because there’s no room for failure here in PSG,” aniya pa rin.
“That’s why there’s an investigation. And that’s also why pinadala rin namin ‘yung abogado namin sa kanila para siguraduhin na maprotektahan rin ‘yung rights nila. Kasi there’s also the rights of the accused, and there’s due process na sinasabi nga, di ba. So we’re going through the process. That’s not going to be a whitewash,” ani Dizon.
“I’m sure that thousands of men and women, the uniformed services, our forces in the PNP, most of us are doing our jobs and we’re really dedicated of delivering for the public. Well, there are maybe incidents, and there are maybe scalawags in our ranks; we will never stand for this kind of criminal acts and violations of the law. We should wait until the investigation is over, and then sasampahan ng kaso sa korte ito at lalabas ‘yung katotohanan. ‘Yon lang naman ang hinihintay namin para naman we protect the rights also of the public and also of our people,” ang pahayag ni Dizon.
“It does not involve all of us; it involves maybe one or two individuals. Well, we’re all looking at the investigation but then, it does not affect our job and our performance of duty to the President and the seat of government,” ang pahayag ni Dizon.
