ELEMENTS of Candelaria Municipal Police Station are conducting a dragnet operation to locate the kidnappers of Melinda Jennifer Glefonea, a media practitioner of 103.1 FM EdgeRadio.
The alleged abduction of Glefonea happened on May 12, 2013 at about 3:56 am. Investigation disclosed that while the victim was eating at Lugawan ng Mesa, two unidentified male persons with handkerchiefs masking their respective faces armed with short firearms forcibly dragged the victim inside a silver Innova vehicle with cover on the plate number bearing 7858 conduction sticker. They then fled towards Candelaria by-pass road.
Aside from the dragnet operation being conducted, the Candelaria Municipal Police Station is coordinating with nearby police stations for the possible identification and arrest of the suspects and possible rescue of the victim.
