UNIDENTIFIED suspects have burglarized a teacher’s cooperative office late Thursday night in a remote village in Butuan City, police reports said Saturday.
Burglarized was the office of Agusan del Norte Teachers, Retirees, Employees and Community Cooperative (ANTRECCO) at Km. 3, Brgy. Libertad, Butuan City, Camp Crame reports said.
The reports said the burglary was discovered Friday morning by Dennis Acio y Coca, 22, resident of Bayugan City and accounting officer of the said teacher’s cooperative.
The reports said investigation revealed that the burglars gained entry by destroying first the padlocks of the roll-up door of the said establishment.
The burglars carted away a steel cabinet with vault containing P129,000 in cash and pertinent documents; four computers; three monitors; CCTV digital video recorder and Undisturbed Power Supply (UPS), reports said.
The reports said elements of Butuan City Police Station has processed the crime scene for possible traces that could lead to the identities of burglars.
