ONE person was killed early dawn Wednesday after he was run over by a speeding passenger bus along a national highway in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan, police reports said.
Initial reports at the PNP national operations center in Camp Crame identified the victim as Jeffery Bauzon, 26.
The reports said that Bauzon was driving his motorcycle along the Maharlika Highway in Brgy. Nancayasan, Urdaneta City when his bike was hit at around 2:30am by a passenger bus of Victory Liner.
Investigation revealed that both vehicles were heading for southward direction when the passenger bus hit the motorcycle from behind, the reports said.
The reports added that Bauzon died on the spot while the driver of the passenger bus quickly fled after the incident and is now being pursued by the authorities.
